I Love My Church

My family and I love 4 Corners Church. Each week I look forward to Sunday morning and coming to church. Everyone is very friendly, the sermons are inspirational, and with the Bold Steps, I have grown spiritually. Thank you 4 Corners!

My whole family loves 4C. We're on vacation this week, so we missed church this past Sunday. While we were wading in the waters at Virginia Beach, my daughter (who is almost 2) turned to me and said, "I want church!" We're looking forward to coming home and coming home to 4C! Thanks for making a place for everyone to feel welcome.

I love my church because its real, and its full of alot of passion and alot of love. I've never been as close to God as i am now and its because of 4 Corners. Life gets hard and sometimes i wanna give up but everytime i walk into church i feel so much better. The people there remind me that they will always be there for me and that they love me and that God loves me. The messages speak to me and always some part of my life. I feel like God is talking to me through the messages. Everyone is soo nice, the staff is hilarous i love them! I love being part of church and helping to make it as fun and amazing as it is. In the first month i was there i decided that i wanted to get Baptized, that was the best feeling in the world. The bold steps help me grow closer to God. I love how we can worship God in fun and creative ways. I love my church because its like my family, my support system. If there comes a time where i have to leave it, no other church could ever replace 4 corners, it means so much to me. Thank you in helping me find God, thank you for making every sunday im there the best part of my week. I love 4 Corners.

I have been going to church for many years. But until my family attended Four Corners I had never experienced being emotionally connected to the words and music of a worship song. Often times during worship I will have to stop singing because there is such an overwhelming sense of God's love and grace that all I can do is stand there and worship Him.

This is why I love it here: My 2 oldest children enjoy going to church every week - both have accepted Christ since our attendance at 4C; Our closest friends attend here; Our homeschooling network is strong here; The worship is engaging and culturally relevant here; The sermons are well orchestrated... artwork, wall communications, lighting, examples, and songs all coordinate; conveniently located off I-75; I have a community of committed friends who share life with me - rejoicing in my ups and crying in my downs.

Most of all, I love it here because we are active in growing God's kingdom.

We love our church because it is an amazing place! We have never experienced a place like it. It's a place that is real, honest, and fun. There are great messages by great leaders every week that really challenge us to grow with God. We love worship and baptisms. We love how we are asked to serve. We have been serving since the beginning and are so thankful for the opportunity because we feel needed, appreciated, and it helps us continue to grow.

We love the people. We have met so many warm, welcoming, and open people and many that we are privileged to call our friends. We are so thankful that our kids have an amazing place to go to learn about God and have a community of believers to grow up with. We are so thankful to have Four Corners as our church!!

I love my church because of the people. We have met some of the most amazing men, women, & children during our time here. We all know that no one is perfect, and at 4 Corners no one pretends to be, which is the best part about it. My family and I have been with the church from the beginning, way back at CHCA and we are so excited and proud to still be a part of this growing and thriving church 5 years and 2 kids later!

My family and I starting attending 4 Corners in October of 08. From the beginning, we have felt the presence of God each and every time we have entered. The enthusiasm of the people who attend 4 Corners and the sermons we hear are weekly demonstrations of God's love for his people. While attending my previous church, I was never truly moved to follow God's will but since beginning at 4 Corners, I have been challenged each week. I have loved getting involved at 4 Corners and felt God moving in my life ever since I starting following his lead.

From the minute I walked in the door I felt incredibly welcomed. I felt at home. I’ve been going to Four Corners since the week after Easter and I finally feel like I have a church to call my own. In the past I’ve always felt uncomfortable in churches and never really felt welcomed, that’s not the case here. Everyone is so friendly and I’ve already made a lot of awesome friendships. I don’t know what I’d do without my weekly hug from Bubba. :) It’s been an amazing experience for me and I’m excited to see what the future holds. Thanks for everything!

"I love my church because I get to learn more about Jesus and it's really fun! I love being a part of the preschool dance team because I get to see all the kids dance and my little brother. I also really like the bouncies! I like Ms. Lisa and all the teachers in Odyssea!"

I love my chruch for so many reasons! My husband and I were asked to consider helping plant "a new church". We had never done anything like this before and were in the habit of going to church just to check the box. We jumped in with 2 feet and never looked back! 4 Corners has loved us and helped us and served us during some really hard times in our lives, and has celebrated with us during the great times. The people of 4 Corners has been a practical experience of God's hands and feet over the last 5 years!

The worship moves me to tears many Sundays, the teaching is practical and GREAT, and my kids LOVE going to church and their own classes. They have learned so much here and are really sad when we "have" to go on vacation and miss church!

It is amazing to serve here and to be a part of what God is doing at 4 Corners Church!

There are so many reasons that I love 4 Corners. I really look forward to Sunday morning! One of the biggest things I have learned at 4 Corners and have embraced is the relationship of faith and money. As a family we began to fully give and this experience has strengthened my trust in Jesus. I am more free from my fears and have seen the power of this step in my family. I love that 4 Corners teaches the truth in a straight and loving way.

I love 4 Corners! I knew it was the place for me when the music and the message resonated with me throughout the week. I was excited for Sunday and couldn't wait to be at 4 Corners.
I am grateful to be a part of a church that speaks to your heart each week, challenges you to serve others and creates a community of believers that you can live life with.
Thank you 4 Corners staff and volunteers for a church experience I can't get enough of.

We love 4 Corners...
We are amongst the "seniors" at 4C and look forward to every Sunday service. Even after being in church all our lives, we learn something new and fresh every week through Ben's wonderful messages.

One word about the baptismal services...I really like the cheers! Baptisms have always been solemn with moving testimonies and nice songs so the first time I heard the cheers I didn't know what to think. Now I get it--I really do like the cheers and they always bring tears to the eyes.

Thank you 4 Corners Church for helping us grow each week!

What I love about 4corners... I love the fact that the leadership at the church realizes Jesus is the head of the church. I love being able to see the love of God change so many peoples lives. I love that people are real...
I haven't been real in so many years... even up until this last week.. and because 4corners pushes me so much to grow in God i've become a better person.. and I'm changing how I have lived my life for way to long.

I love 4 Corners Church because it's a place that my entire family loves to go to each week. My husband and I look forward to waking up every Sunday morning to go to church now. Our two-year-old daughter even tells us that she wants to go to Sunday School to, "play with my friends".

love 4 Corners because I actually am able to grow spiritually AND have fun while I'm there. I love the music, people, message, and atmosphere. From the very beginning, I have felt welcomed and that I could be myself.

I love 4 Corners because I have never been brought to tears and moved so much spiritually when watching a baptism (not even my own daughter's) before coming to this church.

I love my church because I never get sick of it and it's never boring. I love the children's program and enjoy volunteering. I'm excited to continue going and see what else there is to come!

I LOVE MY CHURCH!!!!!!

I helped begin 4C and have been there since the very beginning. Prior to this church, I found myself saying "I hate church, but I love Jesus" a lot. Not anymore. 4C is different in two very specific ways.

First, it is real. With the people, the leadership, and the staff...what you see is what you get. In my past experiences, I have known a lot of people who have the "church life" and then their "normal life." That's not true at 4C.

Second, 4C is practical. Every week, if you want to, you can leave with an action plan to apply what you've just experience. We call them "bold steps" and you're encourage to take them every single week. If you're happy with where you are and you do not want to grow, do not come to 4C.

Four Corners has changed me, and it has changed my family. I could never go back to the "old way of doing church" again.

My family and I have been attending 4 Corners since October of '08. Growing up in church and already having a relationship with Christ, I was reluctant at first to make the change, but my family needed the change more than we realized. I knew that God had called us to 4 Corners from the very first Sunday we attended. We were welcomed with open arms and had the opportunity to become connected immediately through the Bold Steps we took. We have met many people and developed great strong friendships. I am currently the leader of the Hospitality Team and I love what I do and the great team of people that serve alongside of me.

I love my church and am grateful that God's presence is so strong there each week through the message, music, and people. I am thankful for the blessings that 4 Corners has brought to my family and am anxious to see what else God has in store for us and his church.

My family and I have had the privilege of being involved with Four Corners since CHCA. As a former staff member, smiles constantly form as I think of the community of God-lovers, up-at-5am-to-setup-church if that's what it takes volunteers, and lovers of laughter where people work hard and play hard.

Four Corners is a church that has re-DEFINED church for my family and so many of my friends. It is a place we LOVE to invite people to (and I never thought I'd find a church like that in my lifetime) and know Jesus shows up like each and every week.

Four Corners, simply said, is the most authentic group of Christ followers I have ever seen. Normal people seeking to live out faith in bold ways to a world so desperately seeking purpose and hope.

Thanks Four Corners' staff, volunteers and so many others that make it a place we LOVE!

I've been calling 4 Corners my home since the first Sunday. There have been lots of changes in staff, location and attendees, but one thing remains the same. There is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere of normal Christ followers in all phases of their journey sharing God's love with humor and warmth. I almost always can relate to the message in some way and I almost always feel better after the service than before.

The people in this church are what make it so great in my mind. I have made some lasting friendships with amazing men and women all on their journey of building a deeper, stronger relationship with God. I have been inspired and challenged and encouraged, always with love, and I have grown in my Christian faith through my relationships with so many good people who call 4 Corners their church. They are so loving, generous, and fun! The love of God just seems to pour out of these people! I have really enjoyed getting to know some of them more closely, while studying the word of God or just enjoying good wine and conversation, in Life Groups. Life groups rock! Sunday mornings are amazing, too. I love the energy of worship and the relevancy of Ben's messages to real life stuff. I am so proud to call 4 Corners home, and I get to tell everyone that I Love My Church!

Having grown up in church where Sunday school could easily slip you into a coma at age 6, I couldn't wait to get out of church. There was no relevancy to my life so why waste the time? I can't tell you how glad I am to have had that experience because it led me to try and change that for other kids. Volunteering at 4 Corners has opened up opportunities for me to take on God's challenges for my life, to make His word real and relevant to my kids and to others. My kids actually get upset if we don't attend/serve both services and I have to wonder, based on my previous experiences if they are aliens because we spend alot more time at church than I did as a kid.

Thanks for creating that environment for them and for creating an environment where I can live out God's call on my life without all the typical hassle that keeps the really cool God stuff from happening. To volunteer at 4 Corners is to see your God experiences grow dramatically in all areas of your life and that's why I love my church!

I love my church for so many reasons but I will share the one that stands out the most. I have been going to Four Corners with my family since we met at Rave. There was a period of time (a year or more) that I stopped attending. It had nothing to do with the church but with me and some poor decision making. One Sunday I came back with my husband to attend the service. I had missed the messages, the community, the people but I was so nervous. I had abruptly stopped going and had not spoken to anyone since. I expected strange looks and for people to ignore me. As I walked through the doors I experienced genuine smiles, warm hugs and heartfelt comments from old friends expressing their happiness that I was back. I was broken but walked out feeling God's love, mercy and forgiveness. From that day on my heart was changed, my mind was changed and I began a new and energized walk with the Lord. God is at work in Four Corners. My marriage, my relationship with my children, my life is better because of being a part of Four Corners. I love my church!

Since being invited to be part of the original church plant, 4 Corners has connected, grown, challenged and loved my family and I.

I feel a sense of comfort and belonging with 4 Corners. I feel the Lord moving in my life, my family and in the church. There is certainly an excitement about attending service and and a solid follow through during the week. Oh, and there is that other thing..."I LOVE MY CHURCH!!!"

4C is the only Church I have ever looked forward to attending on Sundays. The Music is awesome. The Leadership is always challenging you to take the next step in your faith (and they lead by example). We are constantly doing some sort of outreach or community service thru Washington Project. My children are having a blast and learning about Jesus in Odyssea. I get to serve with some great Volunteers and hang out with some really cool People.

I had been following Jesus for 11 years when I came to 4C for the first time. I didn't realize how complacent my walk had been. I also was not aware how much I didn't understand God's love and grace.
I have been coming to 4C for almost 4 years now and I have grown closer to God than I have ever been. I am challenged weekly to take "Bold Steps". I have been entrusted with leading a ministry, which I would have never guessed God would have me (full of faults) do. I feel God's amazing love and grace through the people and messages.
I love that I am excited about coming to church each week. When I miss a Sunday, I feel like I have missed something big.
I love that it is cool, fun and relevant, and that I would feel comfortable bringing anyone through the front door, church goer or not. I love that the music is better than most of the bands I hear on the radio!
I love that my kids look forward to coming each week and ask me "Is it church day? When will we go to church again?" They both have asked Jesus to be there "Forever Friend". The Odyssea Children's program ROCKS!
I love that I can say...." I love 4 Corners Church!"

I love going to a place where I can be myself. I don't have to act like I have it all figured out. It's great to share stories and life experiences with people who have gone or are going through the same experiences in life.

My wife and I joined a Life Group when we first started going to 4 Corners. Being in a Life Group was amazing. It was great to connect with people and get to know the people who you see at church every week.

Also, the children's ministry rocks! My kids love going to church and learning about God.

4 Corners children's ministry has had such a tremendous impact on our children. I love to hear our daughter singing songs she has learned in class to her dolls or in the car. I know our kids truly love their church when they invite their friends from school to attend. Thanks to all who serve the kids at 4 Corners so faithfully each Sunday--it's truly the highlight of their week. I love my church!!!!

I have been coming "home" to 4 Corners since May 08. Funny, after all these years (48), this is the first time that I have put "my" in front of church. I had always "visited" here, or "attended" there, or was "taken" to church by mom and dad!
Thank you for providing the spiritual "missing piece" to my puzzle of life. You complete me. This is my church, and I love to worship and serve here! I am, also, very excited to be baptized here on July 26th!
Thank you so much for making me and my kids feel welcome! I have met so many wonderful individuals here, and when you put them all together at 4 Corners, it is no wonder that you can FEEL the energy and spirit of great things happening here!

My husband and I had been attending a church for a while and realized that 5 years had gone by and we really hadn't 'plugged in' We decided to look for another church where we could feel that we belonged, and now if we miss a service, people notice, that makes a big difference!
We had been praying for years that we would be able to find other Christians that we could grow in life with and 4 corners has provided a huge answer to our prayers in that regard. From day one, we have been greeted with friendly, real people who made us feel so welcomed.
We are so blessed to have such a great Children's ministry, and those that are serving in this area, are truly called to do what they are doing. The passion of all the leaders and volunteers has stunned us regularly.
My husband and I often discuss how incredible it is that the message given each Sunday can affect so many different people in different stages of life, on such a personal level, there's only one way to explain it, the messages are God inspired!
We have made lifelong friends, and feel truly blessed to have people along side of us to pray with us during difficult times and to celebrate with us when things are going well!!
Thanks for seeking God 4 Corners!!

We found 4Corners back in June of 2005. We were looking for a place that we could be ourselves, a place that we could find other people like us, to build relationships with, all while working together for a common goal. What we have is rare in churches today, and I love every minute of it. Cant imagine going anywhere else. I love my church...

I had just left the church I attended with a very dear friend for about 3 years. Knowing that I was a church-goer...I went back to my old church for a Sunday, thinking I'd fit right back in. I found it more difficult than ever to fit back in to that church...so I got on the internet and started looking at churches.

I decided to try 4 Corners Church for a weekend...and then "Bubba," gave me a tour of the facilities and introduced me to Greg and Ben...then next thing I know we talked and I found out that Dr. and Mr. Miracle attended the church also.

I truely enjoy the church and how everyone accepts me for who I am.

July 20th, 2009

The first service I attended at Four Corners was with a friend while my wife stayed at home with the kids. We were church shopping and I was on the hook to find a place we would call home. When I returned home following the service I remember her asking “how was it?”

I had to explain I had a cup of coffee and a bagel while listening to some amazing music I had never heard before. Then, this guy came out in jeans and spoke about real world stuff like anger and how it affects our lives if we don’t manage it. Come to find out at the end Greg was not even the regular guy because Ben was out of town. And then I had to explain Greg spent the last 5 minutes of the service making fun of his brother. A dozen people introduced themselves to me and I left feeling overall pretty good.

I quickly realized this church is made up of real people, living real lives and everyone is truly comfortable in their own skin. I listen to series about “No Perfect People” and topics like marriage and family. We serve the community by raking leaves and providing backpacks for children that cannot afford them come school time.

I have made friends I will have for the rest of my life. The messages on Sunday help shape the way I live and the music is nothing short of fantastic. We feel lucky to call Four Corners our home.

Chuck

July 20th, 2009

We had been church shopping in Spring 2006 when we decided to give 4 Corners a try, we had just moved back to Cincy from Nashville and were looking for a church similar to what we had there. Within 5 minutes we knew 4C was the answer, since then we have learned it is so much more than we ever dreamed.

I will never forget when we walked in for the second week, Susan Morgan greeted us by name, and had just met us in passing the week before. After that service, Hartsock asked me to lunch and we have never looked back.

The impact that Ben's messages have had on our spiritual lives is amazing, and the friends we have made are life-long, genuine friends. I cannot imagine how empty our lives would be without the people of 4C and how we interact with them on a daily basis, God is so good.

We have no reservations about bringing family and friends to 4C who visit from out of town, and every single one of them has said, "I wish there was a church like this where I live,"...

It is about being real, no one wants hypocritical fluff thrown at them, Ben is real and the messages are "real world", leading up to my favorite of all time about "not having to check a certain body part at the door" when coming to church.

I challenge anyone to find a better group of men than you will find at 4C, rock on my brothers...

I am proud to call 4C my church.

My family loves 4C so much. I'm personally greatful for the friendly faces and Bens excellent inspiring messages every week. I never thought I'd be attending church every week let alone loving every single minute. I was a non-believer just six months ago, and my family went through losing my job, finding a new one in a bad economy, moving five hours from anything they've ever known and finding a home and somewhere along the way I felt so empty because had been so blessed and greatful for what I was now given with a new job, new home and shorter work days to see my familly but who to be thankful too? Thats when god tapped me on the shoulder, hugged me and pointed me in the direction of 4C as the only place with such loving people that would accept someone with no beliefs (at the time) and welcome him with such open arms to learn how to walk with the Lord. I am greatful everyday for Ben, his family, the music (Justin's doing an excellent job) and Lisa's work with the children (we have four under 8 who love coming to church) but honestly without all the loving people who fill the room each week, not judging anyone and welcoming someone like me like they did, for that I've learned so much about my path with the Lord. Thank you all so much!

We started attending 4 Corners in June 2005 and loved it from the first song. The band was playing 'Dare You to Move'. We were contemplating moving to a new church because we were feeling complacent at our old church. We made the decision that day to join the church and haven't looked back. We were made to feel a part very quickly. The people were so friendly and non-judging. We love the music, messages and the children's program. It's great to see everyone helping each other along the journey together.

My husband Ben and i began attending 4 corners church back in november of 08. We had been attending another church for many years but felt God had more for our family. We attended a couple of churchs but did not feel like we had found what we were looking for. In november of 08 we came to 4 corners church. Our first impression was that this could be what we are looking for. Our daughter who was 2 loved coming and looked forward to going each week. We continued coming back we after week both feeling God move us each week.

During our first couple of months at 4 corners church we discovered that our son who was born in august of 08 with a cyst in his brain was going to have another brain surgery. There were so many emotions tied with this news including frustration and sadness. We decided to ask for prayer from the staff of 4 corners. What we recieved not just prayer but a community of people willing to support and love us and our children without really knowing us...We recieved emails, calls, and offers for dinner and childcare from the staff and others at 4 corners church. After this experience we knew that we had found a great place with great people. We had caleb dedicated this past spring and are striving as parents to raise our son and daughter to be christ followers.

I was invited to 4C by Diane, who has been one of my best friends for 13 years now. I had not been in a church in over 25 years. I lost my job last year and something felt broken in me. I enjoy the music at 4C and Ben's messages. The people are open, friendly and non-judging. I leave each week really thinking about how I can move forward.

After my divorce over 3yrs ago I needed to find a new church for my son and I to attend since it was awkward to be attending the same church as my x. I had heard of 4 corners through the Vineyard network and gave it a try when they were still meeting at Lakota West. It was a little intimidating at first being surrounded by "families" and being a divorced mom, but everyone was very friendly and did not treat me different because i was divorced. I connected with someone I knew from the old church and that helped me meet others and get plugged in. After my son, at the time 3, attended, he loved it. He was able to tell me what he learned and of course, loved the jumpies. The teachers were always happy to see him.

Since then I have met a great man, Jamie Hayes, who left his church and has been attending with me now for over 2yrs. We really love 4Corners..the music, Ben's messages (even the "uncomfortable" ones), the people and life groups. I've met some really great friends. We both are active in serving at the church...I love the opportunity to serve and help others and giving them a smile. Eli continues to love attending there and still loves the Jumpies!

I love the come as you are atmosphere and that our church truly means it. From the way you dress to the way you speak and how you act at church and away the people at 4 Corners really do love people where they're at.
I love the passion and commitment of the leaders to help practically live out the love of God through Life Groups, Sunday Service and Washington Project with the people that call people 4 Corners home, the visitors and even complete strangers in the community.
So many more things I could list, the way we are challenged every week to take bold steps and the follow up that comes with that. The way no one has to pretend they have it all together or isn't struggling in one area or another. I love the messages on Sunday and the awesome music.
I love my church!

Why do I love 4 Corners? At first, I'd quickly say something about the friendly congregation, rockin' music that brings me to the cross each and every week, and Ben's candid, honest approach at teaching. It's really more than that though, as if those things weren't cool enough.

I love that people like my husband, who didn't like "church" as he previously knew it, can look forward to the times he can make it to a service.... but more than that, I love that the people who had/have a vision and calling to grow the church realize that it is CRUCIAL to avoid watering down (or ignoring altogether) the call God has on our lives simply to get a lot of bodies in the building.

I love that EVERY person, EVERY week is challenged to move forward in their walk with the Lord. It's too easy to tune out (even in a great service) and think that there isn't anything "for Me" this week. Instead of being allowed to fall into that complacency week in and week out, we are encouraged to evaluate where we are in every single service. Regardless of the apparent magnitude or boldness of the step I might take in a given week, I know without a doubt that I am focusing consistently on my relationship with Christ and not just doing so every now and then, when I'm smacked in the face with something big. Because of this, I am led to make better choices throughout the week with how I spend my time, where my priorities lie... all because I'm gently pushed to do SOMETHING, constantly.

Finally, though some of you know I could go on until someone stops me ;), my husband and I have both talked at length at how "real" the people are that are leading at 4 Corners. Whether it's the willingness to take on difficult topics (and remind us that God isn't afraid of our tough questions), to talk about sex on Mother's Day (or ever), or the transparency of the staff with regards to numbers, money, big changes (like Andy's recent departure), etc. We are made to feel, and wholeheartedly believe, that there aren't lots of secrets, ugly politics, etc going on behind the scenes. Instead, we feel like the staff and leaders at 4 Corners just really want to pray for us, to challenge us, to grow with us, and to see people not just "come to church", but follow Jesus. Always.

I love that for the first time in years, I very happily call the place I attend worship "MY church". We look forward to continuing to get involved and getting to know more people, but I am already so thankful that God brought me and my family to 4 Corners, and didn't give up on us when we dragged our feet getting here :) ... and I'm so thankful for ALL of the people who willingly serve!

I love that I can be myself at our church. I can be imperfect. I can be confused. I can be angry. I can be sad. I can be who I am without feeling that I'm not good enough.
