Just a reminder that no matter what the weather is like on Sundays, we will continue to have services. 4 Corners does not cancel services for inclement weather. Use your judgment to decide whether you can make the trip to be a part of the excitement.

LIFE GROUP SIGNUPS: Jan 31, Feb 7 & Feb 14

The winter session of life groups are now available.  There are over 30 groups for you to investigate and determine which one (or two) is the best place for you to connect with God and other people from Four Corners.  If you are not able to sign up on one of the enrollment Sundays via the Connect Card, you can e-mail your sign-up to lifegroups@4cornerschurch.com. Advent Conspiracy Update and Videos

Our 2009 Christmas Project..aka. "Advent Conspiracy: Never Thirst Again"...is officially under way.  Together we plan to make a difference this year...in our lives, our community, and around the world.  Our goal is to provide clean drinking water by digging clean water wells with living water international in Uganda...enough wells to provide clean drinking water to 50,000 to 100,000 adults.  We also plan to share "the water of life" with 100,000 people (25,000 households) right here in our community. Lisa Fields Transition

If you missed Sunday, October 10, then you missed a very important announcement from Lisa Fields. Lisa has been the Children's Pastor at Four Corners for the past 4 year, and has grown that ministry from 50 to 200 kids every weekend. Her impact on Four Corners has been great, and her sacrifice has made an eternal difference in the lives of the kids who attend. Make sure to watch the video about Lisa's transition.

4 Corners Begins 6th Year

4 Corners turned 5 years old on September 20. Since we are still a new church, you never have to worry that everyone already knows everyone else - everyone is still new. What that means is there is still room for you and still places of significance to serve.

On our 5th Anniversary, we began a new message series called "6 ISM's That Will Change Your Life." We'll be looking at practical information from the bible that applies to everyday life. See you at 9AM or 11Am on Sundays.

 

 

 

 

4 Corners turns 5

Calling all 4 Corners family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and fellow-students! We want you to come to our party!

4 Corners turns 5 years old on September 20. In 5 years we have moved 4 times, added services, helped 100's become followers of Jesus, baptized new believers, dedicated children, and taken 1000's of next bold steps. We will be celebrating God's work at 4 Corners so far on our journey on Sunday, September 20 - we'd like for you to be there.

It is simple ... come to church at your regular time. Drop off the kids in Odyssea (where the 4 Corners kids team will guarantee they have fun). Meet up with the group. Make a difference. Return to 4 Corners. Go home with a smile.

While you are refreshing physically and emotionally this season, don't forget to keep the temperature turned up on your spiritual development. New Worship Dude Is Coming This Sunday!

May 25th, 2009

After months or reading resumes, viewing videos and listening to mp3's, 4 Corners choose Justin Bender to be our new worship leader - and he starts this Sunday, May 31.

We picked Justin out of almost 250 people who expressed interest in the job left vacant as Andy Reider graduated college and left for an extended and well-deserved break and motorcycle trip through the western US.

Justin is married to Kristin. Most recently he worked with local churches in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota as a worship leader. He is a song writer and recently debuted a new CD Come Transform Our Hearts.

If you were at the Worship Concert a couple Friday evenings ago, you already have a sense how talented Justin is and how blessed we are going to be. If you weren't there, Sunday (May 31) will be your chance to experience it for yourself for the first time.

Got Zapatos?

May 22nd, 2009

Bring zapatos to 4 Corners! (Spanish for shoes). In June, several adults and students from 4 Corners will be traveling to Monterrey, Mexico to serve orphaned children. We are going to load up their suitcases with shoes for these kids.

So…bring NEW gym-styled shoes (sneakers, chucks, ball or sports shoes) for kids who are toddlers through high school ages. We will have receptacles in the lobby beginning Sunday, May 31 through Sunday, June 14. Just drop them in and help a child walk more comfortably into their future.

Next Steps Worship Concert with Andy Reider and the New Worship Dude

May 5th, 2009

On Friday, May 15, at 7PM 4 Corners will be celebrating Andy Reider's time with us as Worship Pastor in a huge, Worship Concert. He will be leaving the 4 Corners staff after serving since the beginning. Andy graduates college this month and will be taking some time to travel, reflect, and pray about the next steps in his spiritual journey.

The concert will feature Andy, the rocking 4 Corners Band and some of Andy's favorite songs. We will be introducing our new Worship Pastor who will share the stage and the mic with Andy. Come be a part of this bold next step for Andy and 4 Corners.

Immediately after the concert, we will have a party, 4 Corners style, for Andy.

 

 

 

 

Christmas in May

April 25th, 2009

This Sunday, May 3, we complete a journey we started last Christmas. In a time of tight money and economic uncertainty, 4 Corners manned-up and committed to give to those less fortunate.

 

We joined with the JEAN-ROBERT CADET RESTAVEC FOUNDATION in their efforts to bring hope and new life to children trapped in slavery in the country of Haiti.

 

Just an hour's plane ride from Miami, over 300,000 child slaves scrub floors, empty bed pans, cook and serve their owners in hopes of a better life that never comes.

 

This Sunday, we will present leaders from the RESTAVEC FOUNDATION with money 4 Corners raised and hear how our support is making a difference.

 

You don't want to miss this Sunday.
