PASTORAL MINISTRY ASSISTANT

Job Title: Pastoral Ministry Assistant

Status: Part-Time (28-34 hrs/week)

Supervisor Title: Executive Pastor

Job Description:

4 Corners Church is looking for a Pastoral Ministry Assistant. This position primarily supports the Executive Pastor. Key skills we are looking for include:

- Organizational/administrative skills to assist the Executive Pastor in creative thinking, organizing, developing timelines and project management of major church initiatives/projects

- Strong communication skills & ability to collaborate with other staff members

- Maturity and the ability to represent the Executive Pastor with staff, vendors, and members of the church

- Adaptability to grow with the organization and move in the direction of the ministry and evolving trends

- Ability to maintain an environment of excellence and consistency while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience

- Possess a high proficiency for computer applications such as word, spreadsheets, and databases

- Track record of managing large projects/initiatives to completion effectively and efficiently

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written with ability to carefully proof-read) and ability to collaborate with staff members

- Self-starter, can work independently, good at multitasking and prioritizing tasks

- Able to meet deadlines and manage personal calendar as well as calendar of Executive Pastor

- Ability to learn church management software and other digital tools necessary

- Strong strategic and critical thinking ability

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

- Willingness to cross-train in other support areas

- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule when needed, including occasional meetings on evenings and Sundays

Personal Responsibilities:

- Attend 4 Corners weekend worship services on a regular basis

- Be loyal to the vision and staff of 4 Corners and always protect the unity of the church

- Give at least 10% of your income to the vision of 4 Corners

CREATIVE DESIGNER

Job Title: Creative Designer

Status: Part-Time (20-30 hrs/week)

Supervisor Title: Executive Pastor

Job Description:

4 Corners Church is looking for a Creative Designer. This position will help to communicate the 4 Corners Church brand to engage people both inside and outside the Church. You will creatively provide video, photography, and video editing, and graphics for a variety of purposes. Your passion for utilizing creative content to tell a compelling story using graphic design, video, and photography as a communications tool will result in the adoption and implementation of best practices across all channels. The successful candidate will be an excellent storyteller, a team player, and have an eye for video and photography creation.

Desired Skills:

Video:

- Shoot and distribute short-form video productions for use in worship, sermons, and website content.

- Photograph various church events for use in worship, media productions, and website content.

- Layout, design, and develop print and video using current trends and originality techniques.

- Record, edit, and produce video/audio for worship, website, or other live events.

- Be available to offer training on proper techniques and solutions to volunteers.

- Post Editing and advance knowledge of Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.

- Suggest recommendations to adjust our video strategy for optimal results.

- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in video and photography.

- Perform other duties when needed.

Graphics:

- Will create weekly graphic design needs of the church.

- Must be able to create compelling designs for a diverse range of audiences.

- Conceptualize ideas and concepts to brand sermon series and create new designs, layouts, logos, and more.

- You must be able to quickly transition from one project to another and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

- Receive projects with design direction and complete them on time and with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator. After Effects and Premiere experience, a plus.
