Men's Rafting Trip

Men, come rafting + camping with us in TN on July 31 - August 1! This is an opportunity to meet new men at our church, fellowship, and have a blast out in god's creation. This trip is open to men 16 and up (under 18yrs needs to have a parental guardian).

We are going to be carpooling down from 4C on Friday, July 31 at 6am. We will arrive in Tennessee around noon and will spend the majority of the day Friday swimming at the river and will have a bonfire that night. Saturday we will raft from 8:30am - 2pm ish with a lunch break in between and then head back home. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to connect with men and have a blast this Summer. Cost: $150

• Cost COVERS Rafting + Friday Lunch and Dinner + Saturday breakfast and Lunch + Water bottles for the weekend + Minimal snacks.

• Cost does NOT cover Gas (work it out with whoever you carpool with) + Snacks you cover on your own + Saturday Dinner.

Lodging:

• CAMPING LOCATION IS TBD

• Camping will likely be free. You will have to bring your own gear. You can camp in a tent, a hammock, on the ground, or in your car if you are one of the drivers.

• If you need to stay in a hotel, there is a hotel somewhat near by; However, you will be on your own with booking and figuring out how to transport to and from the hotel. Email Johnhodges@4cornerschurch.com if you want more about hotels.

Carpooling:

• Everyone will meet at 4C on Friday, July 31 at 6am for departure.

• Within the sign-up link, you will see an option to select if you have an SUV, Truck, or semi-off-road capable crossover... We need all of our carpool drivers to have one of those types of cars in order to reach the camping location.

  • Let us know soon if you can or would like to be one of the drivers.

Where Will We Be?:

• We are rafting the Ocoee River in South Eastern Tennessee.

Other Details:

• You will have several opportunities to use the restroom and change at: A guest house that we will stop at on Friday for lunch, restaurants, and the rafting location.

• We will stop at Buc-ee's on the way down to TN!

• The Rafting is class 3 and 4 rapids. This is not a calm float down the river.
